Key West, Florida

The Indiana Pacers will take you to the furthest of the Florida Keys and to the southernmost point of the continental United States. When the Spanish first arrived here, they called it Key of Bones, or Cay Hueso, which the English pronounced Key West.

Today's visitors enjoy strolling along the palm-lined streets to discover gingerbread mansions and tin-roofed conch houses. Ernest Hemingway wrote some of his best works here. To the locals, he was "Papa", a regular at the saloons, boxing rings and fishing piers. Today, descendants of his six-toed cat will greet you at his home.

Key West is also famous for its diving, fishing, water sports and golfing. But only here does the sun shine brightest when it sets. Everyone gathers for the unscripted, always varied, sunset celebration on Mallory Pier.
